Understanding that the landscape is changing the Team at Vault have taken the step in adopting the work from home model with Team members now having the choice between the primary shared office in the city and their own workspace from home.
Being more than just accountants, we analyzed our own business and decided that rather than dedicating resources to a large physical presence. These resources would be better applied to having a flexible working environment and meeting the needs of our clients in both a physical and digital capacity.
In finding the right mix there has been a lot of trial and error, and we are constantly refining the technology that supports our business. We feel that the decision to permanently transition the office to a hybrid model means not only can we better support our clients, we can also better support our staff.
Looking at issues such as travel time, flexibility for personal appointments and activities, childcare and responsibilities, as well as being able to work at times that are more comfortable, it was a simple decision to align our business practices with the needs of the staff.
As we continue to embrace the digital world, Vault will continue to adapt our business to reflect the changing business environment. With an expectation that some of the covid enforced changes to our business are here to stay, we would prefer to be a leader rather than a follower in adapting our firm for the future.
If you are wondering if a Work From Home (WFH) model will work within your business, reach out to the Vault Team for a discussion about our experiences in adopting work from home, it is not to say that it has been an easy process and a lot of things that came with an office we took for granted.
The Team is still available for face-to-face meetings at our visiting offices as well as offering on site visits for businesses and digital through zoom and Teams. With additional contact hours (working from 8am to 6pm ADST) we are here to help
